I’ve spent a bit of time at the end of this summer relaxing and recharging, which for me, doesn’t come naturally – I’m much more comfortable keeping busy and crossing items off my to-do list. While up in the country for a few days without much Internet, I even managed to read an entire book in under 24 hours – and I’m positive these two things are closely related. 😀

I, too, find it difficult to just relax. I’m going try taking a week off next week. This post is inspirational. So glad you were able to embrace some peace and beauty.
I hope you have a wonderful week off – no matter what you end up doing. 🙂
Nice pix, Kathryn! Glad you had a chance to rest, and in such a lovely bucolic setting! What are those vibrant red berries btw?
Also, great book, I loved it too!
Don’t know what the red berries are, but I do know that the other red thing is sumac. 🙂
